9/9/19 Poem by Zachary Buck Hultman

9/9/19

Is it August?
Born again or so I thought
30 in 3 days
I know it won't feel like my birthday
Sad to say But I thought I'd make it before today
Home and not a slave for those that believe in the workday
but that's okay I'll keep plugging away
Young lungs ready to say the way

Reprogramming to be positive one life to live
Raised to be negative by those who looked down on those that had little
and those who had little trained to look up and idolize a man bt when he don't live up he gets demonized through the demons eyes
dehumanized while he's only human, lies
Look, and image ain't the entire portrait
You gotsta look deeper to see God's entire purpose
for those deemed worthless and those whom disappoint us
Are worth more to us, being treated like Jesus
before his death making our greatest run away from us with no justice

I'll see you again
I gots the world to spin
Look out look in
You'll reach me in the end,
Amen
