I’d take my heart with me, the day I’d expire;
And, rescue this world from dismal and dire!
I had, in my life-time spread enough misery;
And, I regret that lexis in my feeble poetry!
You will not lament the day I depart this life;
And, desist to hold my heart, so full of strife!
I’d take my heart with me, the day I’d expire;
And, rescue this world from that awful mire!
