Every morning when I wake up
You are the first thing that comes into my mind
How you amaze me with your wonderful love
How you make me feel the warmth of your presence
How you make me feel that I am not alone
As I wander aimlessly in the jungle of life.

Why do I always feel that I am so alone?
What was my heart looking for?
What is lacking all these time?
Making me feel so empty?
I can’t understand what’s really bothering me
Am I seeking you or I was only seeking me?

No one can talk to me better than you do
Only you, can understand my heart too
Every time I have to make a decision
In times of confusions, when my decisions intertwine,
You’re the one who always enlightens my mind.

How I have been turning away from you?
Turning away, and live the way I want to
But instead of leaving me, you wait for me
Instead of hating me, you only love me more
You have loved me from the moment you mold me
The moment you breathe your spirit in me
The breath of life, all through my very veins
No one can love me the way you do
In my life, You will always want me to be with you.

This is me, just only human
How I live my life the way I want?
How I make decisions depending on my own will?
Yet, you never leave me alone, not for an hour
Even for a minute or for a second
Finding out that you were there all along
Waiting for me, to come back where I belong.

Each morning when I wake up
I just need to whisper and utter to you
My thanks and my love to you, oh Lord
For with you I found that peace
An everlasting peace so indescribable
The peace I am seeking for
Filling my heart, guarding my soul.

Oh Lord, in you, I found such peace,
Oh Lord, in you, I found my life at ease.
