A Bad Sign Poem by Pierre Rausch

A Bad Sign

Now to be fair, it was considered
If you try to give up
Parked on the other side
We're living in dangerous times
Positive and cheerful
The U.S. Involved
Before the officer and the judge
Positive and cheerful

Talk gossip or real plans
Had something to do with
A wall between two countries
Two free countries, isn't that wall in our head
Painting something, I like the color
Around the circle, grabbed it around
About the size of both hands
Picked something up as I stepped back
Who is supposed to be in charge
Who's supposed to run the country
What happened to those sculptures
I was thinking of Maryville as home

Talk gossip or real plans
Had something to do with
A wall between two countries
Two free countries, isn't that wall in our head
Talk gossip or real plans
Had something to do with
A wall between two countries
Two free countries, isn't that wall in our head
