A Ballad Just For You Poem by Antong Feng

A Ballad Just For You

Rating: 5.0

Please turn off the fluorescent light,
For the night doesn't need the sun——
the man-made sun neither fiery nor sober.
And I know you are enchanted by the gentle moonlight outside.
Despite it climbs up the roof of your house and hides.
Despite I keeps the curtains of my house closed in winter nights.
Despite we are now blocked by countless walls worldwide.
And I'm sure you fancy it.
That I know you,
as you know.

I can, reach you at the speed of light
Oh nay !
We don't do what is possible.
But let the impossible capitulate to us,we are going...
Reach you at the speed of light!
Even if it is thousands of miles away, I am willing...
As long as there is a moon on the treetops in the distant stillness,
and bouquet that can only be scented in the darkness,
I am willing to fall into the abyss of happiness.
The cold wind well underway,
whirling,wrapping,twining around me,
tingeing grey tones of noite.
That's when I tell you:
i am again
goofing...
I begged your sympathy!
That we have telepathy!

Then I landed.
So I woke up, and backed at the speed of light,
for the first time,
and it was never really the same after that.
All this will i give you
That is what you gave me.
I become the light and you the moon
or i the moon you the light, blazing...
Proclaimed that we won't become anyone,
and no one will replace us.
Wondering if you know, this is my dream in the sun.
So please turn on your fluorescent lights.
Then the story ends.
