A Beautiful Godot Poem by Wael Karameh

A Beautiful Godot

Like a statue in an old park…
Silent, sad and sleeping for ever…
How come you could do this to me?
I waited so long to hear your voice…
Saying something….
Saying anything…
But it was like waiting for “Godot”…
You are very strange darling…
Like a nice looking flower without a smell…
Like a lazy volcano that will never wake up…
Like a fall season…
When it invites the rain is impossible to tell…
Don’t be upset if I am saying to you that…
What I am trying to do…
Is ringing in your head a bell…
Before we loose each other…
And we go together to the unavoidable HELL! ! !
