A Beautiful Memory Of You Poem by Renee Snowden

A Beautiful Memory Of You

You knew where I'd be
Kicked back on the rocks
Relaxing under the falls
Setting my mind free
Troubles they fade away
Like the water flowing free
Down the falls into a lagoon
Streams flowing with grace
Timeless beauty
This place never gets old
Rising to my feet
About to head home
Turning back to admire
Indian falls one more time
My eyes spot you
The man I do so adore
He is my lover my friend
Together we sit for a bit
Side by side holding tight
Our hearts are light
Our minds are free
We see the sunset
As the moon rises
Giving just enough light
For us to see
The beauty of the night
Knowing now
We will be just fine
Bringing us to knew hights
