A Bird Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

A Bird

Mercy, kindness and empathy
Least goes out of vogue-
As Nature, hunger and thirst
And breathing-
Whereas, habits and corpse
Go often, all the living beings.

Come on and play with me
You have time enough-
Whereas, I don't have it
For lamenting in vain
Just, I aspire to meditate
Through humming like a bird.
