A Birthday Gift! Poem by Leonardo Chara

Surely services will abound today,
some genuine and true,
others to catch your eye,
All for YOU.
And so will dignity demand you decipher,
what is what? Who is who? ?
For without this all is vain;
hence the futility of the joy in my heart.
For today i am indeed happy,
that on this day some years back,
my 'diamond' was born today.
So while the whole world strives to give you the whole world,
and you decipher and judge,
judge me well;
for all i offer is this heart of mine,
and the priceless products of my mind,
which never ceases to amaze.
