When my eyes opened it was you i saw,
and i felt love uncut and raw.
You were so fine that i couldn't ignore,
and everyday i loved more.

Shattering my calm resolve,
this dear virtue in which i pride.
You have come again!

Everyone seems to know, yet no one really knows;
Everyone is saying it, yet none quite well enough.
Though beautiful, it's surely not this flawless rose,
Or is it? I wonder...what is love?
...

who is my friend?
Is it him?
Is it her?
Could it be you?
...

Promises pile like a pack of cards,
failing to fulfil their purpose.
Counting...The goods are falling short of the bads,
and i should be content & hopeful i suppose.
...

...what's on my mind?
like you really care!
is there really anyone so kind,
as to share my many fears.
...

Surely services will abound today,
some genuine and true,
others to catch your eye,
All for YOU.
...

O what more pain is there to feel,
than that of the terminally ill,
who see death in the distance,
and know it'll bow to no resistance.
...

I wish i was but a little boy again,
to relive those carefree moments with you again;
to chatter naively like times of old,
carelessly letting my thoughts unfold.
