On the day that your mother gave birth
god stopped what he was doing
and looked at the earth
he aint a jeweller
but knows what diamonds are worth
he squinted his eyes
and to his surprise
he saw something shimmering
in the county of kent
but with these sorts of looks
he moved her to bucks
and this is where her childhood was spent
with an all knowing smile
he looked down where you lay
he coughed on the clouds
and blew them away
he stopped the tides in the oceans
as gripped both the poles
he gathered the angels
and all of the souls
and they gave praise
and they rejoiced
they heard your cries
the heavens were voiced
and thats what happend
at the crack of dawn
on the day
when you were born
