A Black Rosy Finch Was He Poem by Rich Harney

A Black Rosy Finch Was He

There's a fancy bird singing a fancy bird song
And it whistled a glad melody.
I watched as it feathered and dipped along,
And a black rosy finch was he,
And a black rosy finch was he.

The black mountain meadow has a buzzy chew fellow
And buzzy chew fellows do swoon.
And the rosy - dew valley high alpine and yellow
Is singing a Rosy finch tune,
Is singing a Rosy finch tune

The winter black rosy, a finch with a posy!
A popular bird - ling of snow
His little grey bonnet, chirp under the nosy
Is all the red belly you know,
Is all the red belly you know.
