A Brainless Head Poem by Mahmoodul Haque Sayed

A Brainless Head

Nothing sinks in to my grey matter
neither business nor politics
or growing a little bit of intelligence

On the chest of torn blue coat
a handful of catkins
in the stomach a blazing oven

Walking towards uncut darkness
eating abject black head
eyes and two folded wings.
