Sitting there with my hand so close to your heart,
i can almost feel you,
almost see inside...

A tap on the knee and you turn to me,
smile on your face and twinkle in your eye,
were just a breath away,
so close
that step so hard to take...

Your glowing in that room,
where all else is gloom,
you are the light,
that i want to know

How to tell you what i am,
and how i want you to know who i am,
if only we could see heart to heart,
