A Breeze In The Park Poem by jason turner

A Breeze In The Park

Rating: 2.0

dogs bikes trikes family days out, turn that hose pipe off theres a drought.
old bread water feeding the ducks, away from the roadside an the trucks.
skip jump do a dance run amok hide an seek, all so much fun at the end of the week.
dogs bark kites fly sun kisses the water, as the bread floates effortlessly by.
walk talk run if you have to be quick, fit old ones a clip an less of that lip.
as the day drifts into night sun sets over the park out come the street scum cans an weed.
loud muttering brick through a car window breaks the peace while the manic depressive tries to sleep
chips an dirt roll around the dark buildings whistles high above call on many youth missions
police sirens haunt the night sky on go the lights like dominoes and then off again all around the hell holes.
