When I journey into the blackness of night
I will not fear the unknown that lies beyond
For it does not matter what is the sight
That will meet my unshaken bonds
I know deep and consuming darkness
Can be extinguished by the smallest light
And in me is a flame to rid me of abyss
No matter the unknowns might
My soul cannot be unknowingly grasped
by the greatest evil or good
It is a life on an eternal path
Through my own chosen woods
There are many things I do not know
yet fear not, there is nothing without reason
in my new being and world spinning below
things will change like the seasons
When I journey into the blackness of night
My body will remain behind In a world I loved
While I move towards an amazing sight
One which I choose to love
