A Christmas Cradle Poem by John Bannister Tabb

A Christmas Cradle

Let my heart the cradle be
Of Thy bleak Nativity!
Tossed by wintry tempests wild,
If it rock Thee, Holy Child,
Then, as grows the outer din,
Greater peace shall reign within.
