A Clarion Call Poem by adeyalo kazeem

A Clarion Call

A clarion call
A clarion call to the patriotic intellectuals
A travesty of pseudo-proclamation
To the antecedents of shambolic promise
A clarion call is imminent.
My loss sounds not
For my pain atoned for justice
And the crucifixion of sweet liars
To a maxim exalted my activism.
A clarion call
To the eyes that behold the wheel
The propeller of a ship
Coasted for oblivion
A clarion call
To the mindless class
The class of pseudo-philes
Open but opaque
