A Creeks Journey Towards The Ocean Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

A Creeks Journey Towards The Ocean

A little stream, so small and new,
Started a journey, among green and blue.
Through fields of grass, and trees so tall,
It trickled on, under nature's call.

From hidden springs, more water came,
Adding strength, whispering its name.
The stream grew wider, flowed along,
Through marshy lands, singing its song.

At last it met the salty sea,
A friendly welcome, wild and free.
It floated there, without a care,
For months and years, just being there.

But tides will turn, and currents flow,
Carrying the stream, to lands unknown.
On foreign shores, it found its place,
A meaning born, with time and space.

No longer lost, or simply free,
It nourished life, for all to see.
The stream reborn, its purpose clear,
A gift to land, forever dear.
