A Cry For Love But There Is None Poem by Sarah Kennedy

A Cry For Love But There Is None

The lost must hope
Left but part of absolute
Children cry remember us
Loud tears fall absurdly as
The moon aches

A drunk goddess fears for mercy
The mad bare sun believes rude will and explodes
Some mad god pretends to care then rumors beauty's dead
Stars give gaudy birth to black and bloody truth

The world devours all her secrets
