A Day After The Fight Poem by Aranya Singh

A Day After The Fight

The days were so slow, just like a snail,
I tried 1000 of activities, even playing with nail
The sun of the winter, sunshine of which is very bright,
Did not warmth me but just striked light
Seconds were slow, so much that I felt to jump and run
Time wasn't running at all, it was like handicap, no fun
To be happy, we need to be sad,
To be normal, we need to be mad,
Life is not the same, as the trauma still exist,
I ask for forgiveness, but can't insist,
Without you, I am nothing, life is owned by you,
The body just work, soul is brought by you
I love you, for bearing me with a smile,
We have large distance, developed in a while,
Wish to clear them all, trying to shrink
I hope that my will shall soon create the link
Behold my friends, I am no more the same,
Life is lived only to enjoy, shall never blame
My words shall be a few, to keep my tongue still,
Because I know, everyone hates the shrill
