Many people wish to be me,
I often wonder why.
They don't see the way I do,
I can't help but cry.
The outer shell is beauty,
The inner, so confused.
Just put on a clowns face, so all can be amused.
Showing optimism, hopelessly filled with doubt.
People wouldn't envy me if they knew what I was about.
Until you live a day in the life of..... the unknown,
Stay in your glass house, and cast the first stone.
The grass is never greener, with that I will abide.
For this reason I stay alone, never to confide!
With this said my friends, remember you hold the key.
What you hold inside can never be part of me.
