A Deadly Game Poem by Mariah Kadesh

A Deadly Game

My heart pounds as i watch her fall,
her life draining as she leans against the wall.
I tried to convince her it was wrong but she wouldn't listen.

She was my best friend and i watched her die,
how would i tell her parents? I started to cry.

With her last breath she said 'Im sorry'
then there she layed on the floor...

All the others fleed the scene,
their consciences unclean.

The way it happened was such a shame..
