Charlotte Ballard

A Debt Poem - Poem by Charlotte Ballard

I hate debt
That creeps around-
Allowing others
To yank
As if they own
Body and soul full
Flesh-

The mind worries
As the body prays
Never enough -
The maw yawns deep.
