A December Morning / An Autumn Memory Poem by Eoshoros

A December Morning / An Autumn Memory

Rating: 5.0

I wake up with tears flowing from my eyes
And all that I need is to scream and cry
And all that I do is to clean my eyes
Just before I close the door behind

“Santa Claus is coming…”

I feel the snow that falls
Like it was in another world
While I embrace the days that now are gone
Days old… (…cold)

In the almost darkness of an autumn eve
A leaf is falling, dying in silence
Once it reflected the light of the moon
While it danced with a wind that came from the north

And as you and I share a kiss
It dancing in the air
Falling into the well of things that will never be again
One last dance before eternal end
