Seldom, we cross paths

with one, who never ceases to be true...

with one, who you just want to hold onto...

with one.... one just like you....



Dusky it was, still I never saw much clearer..

your shyness, dullness... It was apparent..

fruitful endeavours made the way,

felt content, our friendship was not stagnant...



Was surreal, how you turned out to be,

someone who personified empathy....

Encompassed us all in your warmth,

and straightened out our every complexity....



Innocuous smile, a svelte personality

coupled with a heart that cannot hurt...

But, still you derive this sadistic pleasure,

no wonder, i still remember that black shirt...



Memories of the times we spent together,

are the ones that can never get rotten...

What still lights up the bad weather,

was our zealous efforts to still make things happen...



Life may divert our ways, upset our days...

Even though we may be miles apart....

But never you forget, ever...

You will always be somewhere rooted in my heart....
