A Difficult Son Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A Difficult Son

A difficult son,
How to handle
If he is against you,
Hears you not at all?

So naughty
And notorious
And hears it not at all
What you say,
What you ask to do?

Really a badmash boy
So desperately yours,
So risky and rowdy,
A partying fellow
Smoking, drinking and passing time.

He is not of his father,
Not of his family,
A number smoker, drinker, reveller,
A phaticchar.

To drink and quarrel,
To drink and drive,
Enter into a brawl, an altercation,
To break and smash his job,
To destroy and to make losses,
To sell and re-sell.
