A Disease......

Many try to prove how intelligent
they are simply by being clever.
They use lies and excuses as weapons
and the cover of smartness as armor.
They love to stuff themselves with dreams
and miscarry them like feeble wombs.
Their lives may turn sickly and airy
as they may end up cheating themselves.
