A Divine Call Poem by Guhapriyan V.D

A Divine Call

There was a time we met, lived and rejoiced but now it's for us to be apart
Do not cry on this day when I'm in union with my beloved
It's a day to remember a long journey with a smile upon your lips
Let there be a song not for my farewell but to welcome the angels
A dance not being sober but with wildness of the wine
By knowing the joy of letting go and
With your hands held high, make a toast for our togetherness.
Among the infinite births let this finite one to end
