A Dove Of It's Nature; Hope Poem by Alex Bevan

A Dove Of It's Nature; Hope

Dove, dove, dove up high,
Way up in the darkened sky.
Like a grimace of Light,
In a shadowy world.
But as you fade away,
I start to hope of your return,
I hope you return soon.

Then,
I kneel down, knowing hope is only a trick for the doomed.
