When I'm walking down the hall
And you walk up to me
You shock me with your aliveness
And then your're all I see

The memories I've had with you
Are worth more than just gold
The friendship that I share with you
Is something I wish to hold

I wish that you could see
The joy that's in my heart
When I thought my life was over
And you helped me to restart

The expression on my face
As I look into your eyes
It's something I cannot help
It will never be disguised

I'm on the bus leaving
I see you at the track
I really don't wanna go home
I feel like going back

When you are on the track
The wind runs through your hair
My whole body looses feeling
That's something I can't declare

I know I can't state the truth
When you're close I stand in fear
I'm scared of getting broken
But for you it's not so clear

I need to admit to the obvious
I have to share how I feel
But I'm scared of being broken down
Because the time it takes to heal

Someday you will know
How much you mean to me
Metaphorically speaking
I'm a heart and you're the key

I hope that this is real
I hope that your are true
I hope you really do like me
Cause know I really like you

This poem was very fun to write
Cause it shows you what I see
When I look into your beautiful eyes
