A D-Rex Lunch Poem by Benjamin John Davis

A D-Rex Lunch

A family went for a relaxing walk at the park
A D-Rex followed them in.
The D-Rex was hungry
It was ready to hunt
It hid in the shadows,
It stalked in the trees
It never gave out the slightest of breeze.
D-Rex looked down at the little bunch.
He then thought, 'Hope it's time for lunch! '
He dove out of the bushes, and snapped at their knees
Everyone was scared and they kicked at his teeth
‘Ow', said her as they kicked his head.
Then he was mad, and he squashed them dead!
