A Dynamite In London Poem by Mphonyana Oaitse

A Dynamite In London

ULULATING THE BEST RESULTS OF AN AFRICAN BORN GENTLEMAN

DYNAMITE IN LONDON

A dynamite has exploded in London
And out of it strange colours were seen
These colours were only recognized by a few
Blue, black and white

A dynamite has exploded in London
The world is shocked
The world is amazed
The world is surprised
The world is astonished
For a dynamite has exploded in London

A dynamite has exploded in London
An African dynamite in this case
A powerful enormous dynamite
An African dynamite

A dynamite has exploded in London
A shooting star has passed
A morning star has risen
Healing rain has fallen
The lord has remembered Botswana

Makwala has done it for us
Out of our hearts flows joy
Out of our eyes flow tears
Unusual tears of a kind
Those one of a kind
Those that expresses
How much happiness
Is deep down our hearts

Makwala did it for us
He is a hero of our time
A hero never to be forgotten
Shine oh Makwala!
Shine!
