A Ending Love Poem by Tjh holland

A Ending Love

Rating: 4.3

I always knew in my heart
That this love would Burn out from the start but I would hope our love would somehow find its way thru the dark
At its best our love was put to the test and every time it seemed that the end was nigh our love seemed to rise ever so high
You'd push, I'd pull
But No matter what
On your love I could never seem to get full
awake at nite like a vampire
Craving for just one bite
A taste of your passion
Fruit From the tree we planted
But that love is no more
You've cut it down
that giving tree gives no more
So here I am just a stump of what I use to be
A love that you've let go
But one that still lives in me
I wish u the best and nothing less
And I will always remember and hold a place for you In that left side of my chest
