A Fair Go For Some Poem by Francis Duggan

A Fair Go For Some

Some people's idea of a fair go entails only the few
And this is not saying anything that is new
But then such people in their way of thinking in their minds seem small
Their idea of a fair go is not a fairgo forall
People who believe on a fair go for the advantaged only not rare Worldwide
They help for to uphold the social divide
They favour the wealthy whose fair share of taxes never pay
Because of a fair go for some only so many getting poorer in the Human World of today
A fair go for some only to billions of people a verbal offense
The wealthy keep on growing wealthier at poor people's expense
Human equality to dead people only does apply
A mere fact of life that none ought to deny
A fair go for some is only for the few
And this is not saying anything that is new.
