A Farewell Message. Poem by Natasha George

A Farewell Message.

To my very close friend Minju Mary Varghese

I remember the day we met,
as if it were yesterday.
The day when we were
strangers, stuck in a cabin of a room.
The day when we were
separated from our families
and brought together by the
mysterious hand of fate.
And somehow as time passed,
we ended up as the best of pals.
With our small fights and great stupidity
of the so called teenage life,
the years spent with you has
truly turned precious.
All the joys and sorrows we hurdled,
the hundreds of secrets shared
the many mischiefs planned
and successfuly failed-
all now turned to
memories unforgettable.
Today as we are on the
threshold of a new life,
that same hand of fate
that once brought us together
and so close,
is determined to separate us.
What else can i do,
but hope to meet you again.
Now as i bid farewell,
I wish you all sucess in
life's ordeals ahead of you.
And that you may
find a friend like me to
support you through the hurdles of life.
But then can anyone else
replace you or me?
