A Father And Friend Poem by Natarajan Ramaseshan

A Father And Friend

How soon does time fly with no wings
And when it comes down, changes things.
I love the morns I played with you
You made me walk and carried too.
Told me stories and taught me songs
Took in your stride my rights and wrongs
You moved mountains to clear my way
Strived to make me happy and gay
With fond memories my heart chimes-
'A father and friend at all times, '
