Day and night -
dark or bright,
our earth rotates.

Year after year -
sans favour, sans fear,
it revolves.

The concept of time
emerges and evolves.

Countless centuries
churned by the
charismatic giant wheel are
compressed and archived in the
annals of human history.

Time and distance temper our
tenure on this terrain.
The 'year' is time's
tried and tested template.

Hear, hear, comes here
the 'New Year'!
Oh, folks dear!
wipe away your tears
swipe out all fears.
The grand New Year brings
great, good and
glad tidings!

Let not your conscience
drift and degenerate into
'con' science.

To vanquish evil,
let's wield 'Love',
the only weapon that will
never destroy or kill.
An uphill task- still
It's God's sweet will!

Tolls the bell from
temple tower.
May God His blessings
on us shower!
