A Father's Joy Poem by Fred Medina

A Father's Joy

When you came to my life
The day you first saw light
So much joy I felt inside
Your face so beautiful!
Eyes like raindrops fallin'
Nose as steep as stair
Lips as red as strawberries
Smell like angel's breath
Truly, you're God's present
To us your dear parents
Nothing I can ask for more
You're a treasure I reckon

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
