A Feeble Soul. Poem by Nebe Albert

A Feeble Soul.

Always pray for me; that i may fall into no sin.

Always be with me, thy rod and thy staff, to comfort me and guide me.

Always chasten me, not with thy anger, but with thy love that ends not. Like the good father, train me.

Always stay with me, I am without vigor. I am flesh. How will i live without you? what am i without you? Who am i and what will i be without you?

Always keep me. It is dark and cold. I need thy light and thy warmth.the hour holds mystries, and dangers lurks around for my soul.like a hungry lion savouring the sweet meal to come.

Oh! My love. My soul desires you. Forgive me all that is past. Make me your tool and use me always.

Always love me, caress my feeble soul and let your love blow in my life. My father and my God.
