A Fine Line Between Words And Desires Poem by sara wiliams

A Fine Line Between Words And Desires

Rating: 5.0

should I say I did forget?
should I break thy fleshly gate?
for that you did nothing
but paint my life full with hate

should I pray for your soul
to release
should I teach my heart
to please

you will hear me then
I forgive and I forget all
you will watch me say
all you asked, all and all

is this the thing that matters then?
or the real wounds inside?
is it enough to make you laugh?
or should the peace come inside?
