A Fine Sanctuary Poem by Reynaldo Casison

A Fine Sanctuary

Rating: 5.0

Will ya be my fine sanctuary
With the fine fibers of your
Being
With the fine fibers of your love

When tears have become oceans
Where mermaids and dolphins
Make music with the waves

Will your arms be our raft
On sunny, cloudy, and moonlit
Waters

When tears have become oceans
Where mermaids and dolphins
Make music with the waves

Will your heart
Give of its nectar and Solace
All around

Will your body
Be the beachshore
We frolic upon under the sun
Under the moon
Beneath the Starlight

A sanctuary
For our tears
For our love
For our melodies

You'll be my fine sanctuary
Woman
With the fine fibers of your
Being
With the fine fibers of your love
Under the sun
Under the moon
Beneath the starlight

You'll be my fine sanctuary
To keep the song alive
To keep our love alive
Under the sun
Above the moon
Beneath the Starlight

A sanctuary
For our tears
For our love
For our melodies

You'll be my sanctuary
To keep the nectar sublime
