A Fit Role Model Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

A Fit Role Model

Singing something-
That stirs the souls
Dancing something-
That marks footprints
Acting something-
That makes the history.

Using creative freedom-
To meet, choose and apply
Fearing not, the walking dead
Believe, it's all for good-
Nothing can stop jokes apart
Something new, something fresh
Inked in memory of the dead.

Being not carried away-
Marriage is a big responsibility
And a traumatic experience-
Coming out clean is a success
Beating coolness, not the style.

Playing it up and playing it down
Curbing on curbs, not on the skill
For the love of realism to be
Or not to be, making no difference
Whereas, to be a fit role model.
