A Fix Not Broken Poem by Timothy Branch

A Fix Not Broken

Adam was a keeper and a worshipper.
So much so that God did not create for him her.
Not until that Adam was proven to be a keeper and a God worshipper.
So that Adam would not know from whence she came
God caused Adam to sleep to work His plan.
His eyes, hands, or senses had nothing to do with God’s plan.
But upon the presentation to Adam……WHOA MAN.
Upon recognition Adam pledged a vow forever fixed without pretense or condition.
She’s of my own and of this truth I know what God wanted me to know. This woman is mine.
The presentation as it is I receive as mine.
Bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh.
I love my own.
