A Flag Of Roses
to hold a petal in your heart
for the link in the chain
of roses against the row of
thorns
the look of anger in the eye
the pain of terror in your
hand
strength disappears from the
lips of desire
read the seeds in which are
words
lift up a flag
and say
I am here
to fight
for what is mine
