A Forgotten Love Story Poem by Elliot StClare

A Forgotten Love Story

One king of roses.
Blinded by the lust for gold.
Soon lost his heart.
And the treasures it hold.
Now she mocks him.
In the corner so still.
Her warm touch replace.
By his golden chills.
He lost her.
His heart held grief.
But his eyes.
Shown untold stories of greed.
