A Fork In My Road Poem by John Sensele

A Fork In My Road

A fork in my road
A stork in my lake
A chord I dare to goad
When dimples of discord can't bake my cake.

A song in my head
A gong in my leg
A wrong I dare to shed
When I want nobody to beg.

A stick in my hand
A brick in my heart
A trick I dare to withstand
When I want no tart to start.

A link in my dream
A slink in my book
A mink I dare to scream
When I want a sink to hook.
