A Friend Poem by Pearl Wheeler

A Friend

Rating: 5.0

A friend is someone special
You can tell your secrets to,
And know your spoken words remain.
Between the two of you. Friendship cannot be bought or sold
It comes from deep within,
A bond between two people
That never never ends. Someone who always has the time
Be it day, or be it night.
Who listens to your troubled mind
And helps you through your plight. A friend applauds you when you're up
And soothes you when you're down.
You would be oh! so very very fortunate
To have a friend like this around If you have a friend with all these traits
Count your blessings every day
For a loyalty such as this is rare
Don't let it slip away.
