A Friend Like You Poem by J.C. Masa

A Friend Like You

I have never had a friend like you.
In a world full of superficial, you stayed true.

Even distance and time tried to pull us apart,
Still, you came through—right from the start.

You never treated me badly,
Even when I acted like an ass;
You met me with patience,
A love that always lasts.

A connection so strong, it's thicker than glue—
Nothing can break it, nothing can undo.
Nothing can separate us,
Unless our time on earth is through.

There's so much more that I could say,
But one thing will always stay true:
I have never had a friend like you.
