A gentle wink of eternity
Such faith- illuminating a pathway to prayer
Such piety- emanating from those hands and eyes
The dark recesses of rejections long forgotten
Reflections of an unfettered passion long remembered
Binding us in time to your noble pursuit
Bequeathing to your children this passion for life.
Centering their gaze towards paradise
End of the day brings no remorse
While the world takes note of your visionary force
Waging war against rules having no recourse.
Awaiting the final revelation- that God calls us all
His initiative- His finger touching you- your soul glowing longer than yesterday
A far beaming flame of triumph and jubilation
Wearing that humble look of knowing
The soul's jubilation ever glowing
